Introductory dives
For those with no experience with scuba diving, we offer introductory dives which enable novice divers to explore the beauty of the underwater world for the first time. The Introductory Dives are designed to give the novice diver a taste of what scuba diving is all about, without the need of a PADI certificate.
Firstly, a PADI Instructor will explain the basic principles involved in diving in a brief classroom session. You will then be assisted into scuba gear, and taught some basic dive skills on the surface, prior to your first open water dive. Once your instructor is happy with your skill level, you get to experience the beauty of the underwater world, and the unique feeling of weightlessness for the first time. We assure all introductory divers that they will never forget their first dive; It's a life changing experience - you'll want to give up everything in pursuit of aquatic submersion!
Dive duration : 1/2 Hour dive, 2 hours total time.
A medical questionnaire must be completed prior to diving.
The price of these introductory dives is the BEST on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, and one of the cheapest offered on the Great Barrier Reef.
